Another Onsie Advice Book

Here is another Onsie Advice Book I recently made for an On-Line Order!

This one was for a baby girl and the colors used were pale yellow, sage green, and pale pink!

Welcome Little One Card

This is a card I made for a cousin who just had a baby boy! I love the Coredinations paper! I ran it through the cuttlebug to emboss it and then sanded it while still in the folder to keep its shape. The sentiment is computer generated.

Hope you like it!

1st Birthday Card

Hi Everyone. I cannot believe it has been one month since I last updated my blog. I have been busy working on lots of projects so will have lots of stuff to post soon! On top of all that, I have really started my twins' baby books as they will be 2 this July and cannot put it off any longer!

I created this card for a dear friend's son who just celebrated his 1st birthday last week! I got the idea from Kerry on a quilted look for the top note cut. You can see her card here! This is just my take on the card. I used a sheet of card stock around the same size as the Top Note die cut from Stampin Up. I then used my handy dandy square punch to punch out different patterned paper to create the "quilt" look. I then glued them all down and ran my paper and die through my cuttlebug to cut the shape. I also cut another top note in a darker shade to mat the cut out. Add a bit of ribbon and the scallop tag with a computer generated sentiment and voila! I also inked the edges of the card with Momento Ink!

Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome Little One Basket and Paper Bag Album

Hi Everyone! I cannot believe how long it has been since I hae posted anything on my blog. For those of you that actually read my blog, I apologize!

I was busy this past weekend working on a Paper Bag Album for my husband's new neice, along with a welcome basket of goddies for her! I purchased the paper bag album as a kit from someone on Etsy but forget exactly who. It was already put together with the ribbon and all I had left to do was embellish the naked pages. I also made about 6 photo / journal mats to slide into the openings of the bags and added a scalloped circle as the tag.

Here is what it turned out like! (sorry the lighting is really bad and my pictures look even worse)

I ended up putting the book in the basket of goodies we were taking to her! Here is what the basket ended up looking like!

I really hope they liked every aspect of the basket. It was a lot of fun to do.

Gate Fold Book - My First EVER!!!

Hi Everyone,

I saw a Gate Fold book at my local scrapbooking store and fell in love with the concept. I knew I had to make one... My sister in law recently had a baby boy and figured it would make a very cute keepsake for them.

The back page and the two cover pages are cut from Chipboard and covered with cardstock. I cut the items for the "toy box" on the front with the cricut and mainly used the New Arrivals Cart. I wanted it to look like the toys were in the box and falling out! Once all my pages were covered and cut to the appropriate size, I used my BIA to bind the book together! It really was not hard, just getting the items on the front to line up and open correctly was tricky. I also didn't think about this until after but the shapes used on the front would need a back cover if (when opened) you could see the back side... hopefully that made sense! I added some cute poems and such to the book to personalize it a bit and added the baby's name to the front (with Thickers) and one of the inside pages (with Stickles)!

I think for my first gate fold book, it turned out pretty darn good. I really hope they liked it.

Recent Creations

Hi Everyone,

Wow its been a month since I have posted on my blog. I cannot believe it has been that long. We have had a busy month... We took our first family trip to Texas to visit my sister. This was Aiden and Aleena's first ever plane ride and they did GREAT!! Apart from the little crying during take off and landing, they were troopers!

I have been busy with Etsy Orders.. I wanted to share the last few things that I created for my Etsy Shoppers:

First was this Onsie Advice Book. The customer wanted it to match the theme and invitation so the colors requested were white and blue. I have to say, i think this is my best onsie advice book by far. I loved the inking around the edges, I think it just added that little extra something. I have not changed my etsy shop picture for this listing to show this book. I just was super happy with it!

Next was this Baby Bottle Advice Book I just finished. This customer wanted custom colors of Yellow, Orange, and Green. This is the first bottle book I have sold since posting it in my Etsy Shop. I think this one turned out a lot better the the original. I even embellished the "milk" in the bottle with glittery stickles glitter glue. I was very happy with the way this book turned out and hope the customer likes it!

Thanks for visiting and post a comment or two if you like anything you see!
Thanks!
