Hey Everyone! I know my blog is totally being neglected right now but I have been super busy with just everyday stuff with the kids and trying my hand at designing elements and papers. I have finally been able to start putting some good learned skills to use and very much needed practice. With that being said, I have been designing some cards for friends and family for various reasons. Most of these have not been uploaded to my Etsy Shop but wanted to share them here with you. These will be updated for sale soon! Please leave a comment and let me know what you think...I would appreciate the feedback!

JS Creative Team Projects
I was pretty busy this weekend working on some Jessica Sprague Creative Team Projects. I am so excited that I was able to create some things that I had envisioned and watched tutorials on.
The first are these Crumply Paper Flower Embellishments. I watched a tutorial on Dawn McVey's blog and had to try these out with the Echo Park Be Mine Valentine Paper Pack available at JessicaSprague.com. These were actually really easy tomake and very inexpensive since I printed the digital papers on regular computer paper. It crumpled up nicely. :)

Next up is a Hybrid Valentine's Day Card and Matching Envelope. Again these cards and envelopes are using the Echo Park Be Mine Paper Pack. I created a 8.5 x 11 canvas in photoshop and added my papers in stripes of 1 inch wide. I then printed and ran the sheet through my cuttlebug and the Top Note Die by Stampin Up. Once cut, I adhered a stamped sentiment using the Papertrey Ink Simple Valentine's Stamp Set, attached a crumply flower and called it a day. I also took some left over paper that was printed to adhere to the envelope and stamped some hearts from the same Papertrey Ink Stamp Set.

Next up is a Family Themed Memory Card Game I created for my kids. I created another template on photoshop and clipped pictures of each family member twice into the template. I then printed them on my home photo printer. I also took the same template and clipped different papers into from Jessica Sprague's Site and then printed that on cardstock. I attached both sheets together and cut each "card" out. I rounded the corners with the Corner Chomper and stamped the word "family" on the front of each card using Technique Tuesday's Ali Edwards Family Circle Stamp. I am hoping the kids enjoy these and learn as they "play".

As always, remember to visit Jessica Sprague's site and get your hands on some yummy digi goodies and start creating today!

Love Birds Card
What's up Peeps? I just wanted to share a card with you. Now that my sister has received it, it's safe to share. My sister and brother-in-law are sharing their 3rd wedding anniversary today... Happy Anniversary guys!!
I made them this quick and simple card using dies and stamps from Papertrey Ink. I used the Love Birds stamps and Bird Cage Die to make this card, along with some black and white cardstock, and some flocked paper.
I have been falling {head over heals} in love with stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink. I will definitely have to buy some more things very soon. In the mean time, here is my card.
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time...

Creative Team Submission...
Just wanted to let you all know, I just submitted 3 hybrid projects to the Jessica Sprague Creative Team Search. I love Jessica's products and all of her classes and all she and her website have to offer. I have learned a lot just from her beginner digital scrapbooking class and still have two more in the series to complete.
Her call was out for projects, digital, hybrid or both. Since she made it easy to see what others were submitting by making the a CT Search gallery on her site, I instantly knew I had to submit Hybrid Projects. Most of the enteries were digital scrapbook pages. I have gotten better at these but really think my talent lies with the hybrid projects. I created a wall decor peice out of coasters, a paper bag album(thanks Kathy for the idea & Instructions), and a card set with a matching box. The deadline to enter is today at midnight and results should be out next week!
Just wanted to update you all on my submission and here is a sneak peak at what I submitted...details to follow!

Lots of Cards
I have been very busy making cards! I have recently discovered Kristina Werner's blog and I am in love with it! She has weekly videos of cards she walks everyone through and they are super cute. Between her blog and Kerry's Paper Crafting Blog, I have been completely inspired to create some cute cards.
These cards are just a start and I plan to make sets with matching envelopes and boxes to hold them all in and sell them on my Etsy site! Stay tuned for those...but in the mean time, here are the cards I have created so far

Birthday Card - Finished!
Here is the finished birthday card. I used the same purple paper to add the sentiment that was computer generated. I thought it needed something else to it so I added the bling to the sentiment and at the bottom to adorn the lace punch! I think it turned out really cute and just a tad different from Kerry's!

Paisley Card
This is a card I am working on for a Co-Worker's birthday that is coming up! I used the idea Kerry posted on her blog but she used Damasks Stamps. I instead chose a nice paisley design to compliment this card. The boarder punch is form Martha Stewart. Kerry uses a thicker ribbon on her card but I like the simplicity of the small thin ribbon, I really like the way it's just an accent and doesn't take away from the stamped background, not that Kerry's card isn't wonderful! :) The card is still unfinished so will post the finished picture tomorrow. You can see Kerry's card here!

Welcome Little One Card
This is a card I made for a cousin who just had a baby boy! I love the Coredinations paper! I ran it through the cuttlebug to emboss it and then sanded it while still in the folder to keep its shape. The sentiment is computer generated.
Hope you like it!

1st Birthday Card
Hi Everyone. I cannot believe it has been one month since I last updated my blog. I have been busy working on lots of projects so will have lots of stuff to post soon! On top of all that, I have really started my twins' baby books as they will be 2 this July and cannot put it off any longer!
I created this card for a dear friend's son who just celebrated his 1st birthday last week! I got the idea from Kerry on a quilted look for the top note cut. You can see her card here! This is just my take on the card. I used a sheet of card stock around the same size as the Top Note die cut from Stampin Up. I then used my handy dandy square punch to punch out different patterned paper to create the "quilt" look. I then glued them all down and ran my paper and die through my cuttlebug to cut the shape. I also cut another top note in a darker shade to mat the cut out. Add a bit of ribbon and the scallop tag with a computer generated sentiment and voila! I also inked the edges of the card with Momento Ink!
Thanks for stopping by!

Flower Pot Card
Hi Everyone,
I made a Flower Pot card for my Boss' birthday last week. I had made one previously and she loved it so thought I would make her one. I used beige card stock for the pot. I scored and cut it appropriately and then used heavy duty red tape to hold it together along the sides. I also used the red tape to hold down the flap. I inked the edges (now I wish I inked the edge of the flap as well!). I used paper flowers and layered them and then adorned them with jewels in the center. Added a bit of green ribbon and a tag that said happy birthday. I think my flower pot cards are getting better the more I make them!
Please let me know what you think!
Thanks for looking!
