I also altered this paint can. I bought the pain can from Michael's and got some Christmas paper to embellish it with. I used the red sticky tape to stick the paper onto the can and then decorated away. I used my SU punches for the HO HO HO tags. This was really to cover up the gap the paper didn't cover and think it worked perfectly. I got bells to add to the base of the handle and added ribbon to the handle itself. I also cut a circle for the can top and embellished it with a scalloped punch!
I stuff the bottom with some shredded paper and then wrapped our baby nephew's Christmas Jammies and Bib in a way that you could see "baby's first Christmas" through the can towards the top! I also nested a gift card on the inside to make this gift complete! I really hope they liked this and were able to use the jammies as they were super cute!
Sorry about the last picture.. I really just wanted to show you the bell hanging on the base of the handle! I really need to work on getting my pictures taken for my projects a bit better!
Let me know what you think! This was a fun project.. Definitely will be doing more of these!

Gate Fold Book - My First EVER!!!
Hi Everyone,
I saw a Gate Fold book at my local scrapbooking store and fell in love with the concept. I knew I had to make one... My sister in law recently had a baby boy and figured it would make a very cute keepsake for them.
The back page and the two cover pages are cut from Chipboard and covered with cardstock. I cut the items for the "toy box" on the front with the cricut and mainly used the New Arrivals Cart. I wanted it to look like the toys were in the box and falling out! Once all my pages were covered and cut to the appropriate size, I used my BIA to bind the book together! It really was not hard, just getting the items on the front to line up and open correctly was tricky. I also didn't think about this until after but the shapes used on the front would need a back cover if (when opened) you could see the back side... hopefully that made sense! I added some cute poems and such to the book to personalize it a bit and added the baby's name to the front (with Thickers) and one of the inside pages (with Stickles)!
I think for my first gate fold book, it turned out pretty darn good. I really hope they liked it.

Photo Explosion Box
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to post pictures of this photo explosion box I made. I had made this a while back and couldn't find the right person to give it to and all. I had participated in a Secret Santa Gift Exchange with my team at work and thought my co-worker would be the perfect person to give this to.
This box is christmas themed. I inked the edges of the pages in burgandy ink to add that extra touch. I also embellished the pages with gem stickers and the middle and top of the lid with paper flowers. I think this box turned out really cute and was super excited everyone liked it, especially my co worker.
Thanks for looking and leave me a comment to let me know what you think!

Recent Creations
Hi Everyone,
Wow its been a month since I have posted on my blog. I cannot believe it has been that long. We have had a busy month... We took our first family trip to Texas to visit my sister. This was Aiden and Aleena's first ever plane ride and they did GREAT!! Apart from the little crying during take off and landing, they were troopers!
I have been busy with Etsy Orders.. I wanted to share the last few things that I created for my Etsy Shoppers:
First was this Onsie Advice Book. The customer wanted it to match the theme and invitation so the colors requested were white and blue. I have to say, i think this is my best onsie advice book by far. I loved the inking around the edges, I think it just added that little extra something. I have not changed my etsy shop picture for this listing to show this book. I just was super happy with it!
Next was this Baby Bottle Advice Book I just finished. This customer wanted custom colors of Yellow, Orange, and Green. This is the first bottle book I have sold since posting it in my Etsy Shop. I think this one turned out a lot better the the original. I even embellished the "milk" in the bottle with glittery stickles glitter glue. I was very happy with the way this book turned out and hope the customer likes it!

Flower Pot Card
Hi Everyone,
I made a Flower Pot card for my Boss' birthday last week. I had made one previously and she loved it so thought I would make her one. I used beige card stock for the pot. I scored and cut it appropriately and then used heavy duty red tape to hold it together along the sides. I also used the red tape to hold down the flap. I inked the edges (now I wish I inked the edge of the flap as well!). I used paper flowers and layered them and then adorned them with jewels in the center. Added a bit of green ribbon and a tag that said happy birthday. I think my flower pot cards are getting better the more I make them!
Please let me know what you think!

Halloween....
Hi Everyone,
It has been a while since I posted anything but a lot has been going on. I have been busy working on the kids Halloween Treats. I decided to make them small Halloween Pails to use while trick or treating. Since my twins and their two cousins will be going together and all are under the age of 2, I figured something small would do the trick. Here is what they turned out like:

Aiden
Aleena
Ameya
Nisha
They are made from Small Formula Cans that have been altered. I used Mod Podge and cardstock to cover the cans and then embellished them with ribbon, Letters cut with Don Juan for the kids' names and the backs of the cans are decorated with Pumpkin Stickers I embellished with Black Puff Paint! I punched holes and added eyelets to run the ribbon through to create the handle! I hope they enjoy them. Now I just have to fill them with treats for the kids.
I really like the way these turned out so will be making some Christmas ones to sell in my Etsy Shop! Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think!

Look at what I got!!!!
Just wanted to share a few pictures of my Expression Bundle. I am super excited. Stay tuned for upcoming projects!

I got the E!!!!
Man am I excited to get home today. Not only to see my kiddos but because I just got a email confirmation that my Expression was delivered. Not only my Expression but TONS of stuff. I seemed to have found the best deal on HSN.com and got loads of stuff in my "bundle." It came with 4, yes I said that correctly, 4 cartridges. Out of the 4, I really only wanted one but couldn't pass up the bundle price. In addition to the E and the 4 carts, it comes with sheets of vinyl, tools, etching cream, markers and so much more. I am really juiced to go home and open the box! Dinner might just have to wait tonight!
I thought to myself a few days ago what to do with the carts I really didn't want. I decided to post them for sale on the Cricut Message Boards and within minutes, I had an email from a lady saying she wanted all three, Simply Sweet, Stand & Salute, and Home Decor for a pretty decent amount! I was super excited. I just contacted her today and got payment so I will ship them out to her tomorrow. I already decided to spend some of the money I knew I was going to get by purchasing Tags, Bags, Boxes, and more on Ebay for $29! I know can you believe it?
All in all this was a great deal and I was sure I could sell the carts I really didn't want so it worked out perfectly.
Stay tuned for some cute bags and boxes.. maybe even for Halloween!

1st Etsy Order ... Success!
Hi Everyone,
I was so excited when I got my 1st Etsy order a few weeks back. It was for my baby shower advice book. This was a bit different though. My buyer requested it in girly colors and also requested the front be left blank. I put my whole heart and soul into making this book for this person. It was going to be a very special gift. I just wanted to share it with you! Even though it is plain, I am very excited to say my 1st Etsy order was a success!

Baby Shower Card...
Good Morning Everyone!
I just wanted to share a card I recently made for a dear friend's baby shower. I have embossed the yellow sheet with the Baby Embossing folder for the Cuttle Bug. I cut the carraige with the Cricut using the New Arrivals Cartridge multiple times and used foam dots to add demension.
I also have a shot of the inside of the card. I apologize for not taking the picture prior to writting in the card... Note to self.. next time take pictures before writting in the cards!

Congratulations Flower Pot
Hi Everyone!
I created this card for my co-worker, Nicole for her last day of work with us! I used real "prima type" flowers to add a little bit more texture then the normal paper ones. I also used the Cuttle Bug to emboss the "pot" with the distress stripes embossing folder!
Hopefully she will like it!
Have a blessed day!

1st Birthday Card!
I made this birthday card for our niece. She is celebrating her 1st birthday on August 18th! The elephant was cut at size 4 using the New Arrivals Cartridge. I cut several layers and then glued them together using glue foam stickers to give it some dimension. Its glued on a piece of yellow card stock I ran through the Cuttle Bug using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.
Hopefully she liked it!

Birthday Card
Hey Everyone... I made this birthday card for a co-worker. I used a standard card set that came with an envelope. I added the purple paper to the front and the inside but THEN used the Black Magic Cardstock. I embossed the cardstock with my Cuttle Bug and sanded it a little and voila!
Have I said yet how much I am in love with this paper???
It's incredible and gives projects the perfect amount of pop!
More cards to come....

Wow 886 hits on MY blog!!! I am shocked that my hit counter has reached almost 900 ALREADY! I sometimes sit and wonder if anyone is even looking at my blog... if so what are they thinking? With that said, for all of you that are looking at my blog, perhaps even following it on a regular basis, PLEASE leave a comment and let me know what you think about my blog itself or my projects. I would love to hear from you!
Thanks so much for visiting!!!

Baby Shower Advice Books
These are two baby shower advice books I created. I cut out the inside "pages" with the New Arrivals cartridge. The baby bottle is the "daddy's" advice book with advice cards filled out by other daddys. The Onsie Advice book is for the new Mommy to Be! We placed these cards on tables during the shower so people could fill them out as they enjoyed the shower.
I then cut the back and front for each book with chipboard, covered it with cardstock and embellished.
What a great keepsake to hand down through the generations?

Baby Shower Word Book / Sign In Book
So along with the bouquets I made for the baby shower this past wekeend, I also created a Baby Shower Word Book to hold pictures of the close family and to also serve as a sign in book. I Used the design studio to create the book using George and Don Juan cartridges and then cut out card stock to serve as the "sign in" part of the book.
I think this book turned out great.. and I can really tell now that I am improving my word book making skills!
My sister in law was thrilled with her keepsakes, as was I!
